Norwegian-German Chamber of Commerce
The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce aims to strengthen trade relations between Germany and Norway. It is a non-profit organization and, as a Chamber of Commerce Abroad, part of a network with over 150 locations worldwide. Based in Oslo, the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce has built up a comprehensive network since its foundation in 1986, with currently 800 member companies from both countries. This makes it not only a centre of expertise in the field of German-Norwegian economic relations and bilateral business, but also a competent partner for German companies interested in the Norwegian market and vice versa.
The maritime industry remains a sector of great importance to Germany and Norway. Large parts of the international merchant fleet and some of the world’s most advanced ships are administered by German or Norwegian shipowners. The expertise of the two countries’ respective maritime sectors, particularly as pertains to offshore energy production, means that demand and opportunities for bilateral cooperation are diverse and likely to increase in the future.

JSMEA, a nonprofit organization, is organized by those enterprises engaged in manufactures, repairs and sales of marine propulsion engines and various auxiliary ship machinery such as pumps, air compressors, oil purifiers, heat exchangers, cargo and mooring winches, anchor windlasses, deck cranes, steering gears, navigational aids, fittings and accessories, and presently incorporates a total of 248 regular corporate members and 75 organizations of supporting members.

Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA)
Rallying behind the Korean leadership in the global shipbuilding horizon, KOMEA has been playing a pivotal role in enhancing marine equipment business areas, in particular, making the history of global trade cooperation and related capacity reinforcement and more.
KOMEA is providing practical and outward-looking services, carrying out such pillar projects as overseas market development, support operation of overseas workstations and expansion of after-market function. On this context, KOMEA is expanding domestic and overseas cooperation networks, managing and operating Korean pavilions, dispatching of overseas trade mission, cooperative bilateral MOUs around the world, organizing seminar & conference as well as staging technology, certificates and education activities.
Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Association (KOSHIPA)
KOSHIPA was established as a non-profit organization on july 19, 1977, at a time when the Korean shipbuilding industry had just made inroads into the world shipbuilding market. Seven Shipbuilding companies, capable of building ships of 1,500 GT and over, are currently members of KOSHIPA.

Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT)
Trade organization Netherlands Maritime Technology is a close-knit network of Dutch shipyards, suppliers and service providers who work together in all locations and conditions. In the field of maritime technology, these companies – large and small – aim to lead the way in the quest for new challenges and solutions.
Trade association NMT connects, represents and strengthens the maritime manufacturing industry of the Netherlands. Members’ interests are best served from a strong, strategic sector. That is why NMT is working hard in Brussels, The Hague and in the region for a long-term maritime industry policy and a level playing field. Foro Maritimo Vasco (FMV)

Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE)
Since 1927, S-GE has been commissioned by the Swiss Confederation (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO) with export promotion and since 2008 by SECO and all the cantons with investment promotion. The basis for this is the Swiss Confederation’s dispatch on promotion activities and its goal of creating added value for Switzerland as a business location through more competitive Swiss SMEs and settlements of companies with strong value creation potential.
As a private consulting and platform organization working on behalf of the Confederation and the cantons, S-GE supports its customers in around 130 markets: S-GE operates its own teams (Swiss Business Hubs) at 22 locations, covering a total of 45 countries. The Swiss Business Hubs are integrated into the diplomatic missions of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). S-GE is present worldwide in many other countries through the respective Swiss diplomatic missions or through its own network of more than 3,000 partners, which includes bilateral chambers of commerce, industry associations and local experts, and the organization supports Swiss companies efficiently and effectively on the ground.

Turkish Ship Yacht and Marine Services Exporters’ Association was established in April 2010. Its mission can be defined as to contribute sustainable economic development to Turkish Ship and Yacht sector through improving exportation. It has over 1632 members as of 2024.

The sector has adequate facilities, technology and workforce. Shipyards are mainly located in Tuzla, Yalova region and other shores.
