Why Sea Meets Land?
Nor-Shipping and Nordic Innovation have partnered to help facilitate the new Nordic Innovation Mobility Mission: Sea Meets Land. This is a funding instrument aimed at supporting innovation and collaboration between land-based and ocean industries. The Mobility Mission is part of Nordic Innovation’s NOK 60 million Nordic Smart Mobility and Connectivity programme in 2018–2021. This important programme supports UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure) and 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and Nor-Shipping’s involvement reflect their commitment to the SDG and UN Global Compact, as well as resonating with their blue economy efforts.
