Offshore Monitoring to debut cutting-edge voyage optimization and collision avoidance solutions at Nor-Shipping 2022

Offshore Monitoring Limited (OSM), a developer of innovative solutions for the maritime industry, will be attending the Nor-Shipping 2022 event in Oslo. Smooth Sailing – Courtesy VoyOpt™ “We are excited to share our dynamic voyage optimization and weather routing solution with the maritime community attending Nor-Shipping 2022, “says Capt. Jorgen Grindevoll, CEO at OSM, about their VoyOpt™ system. Explore New Depths with Ladar™ OSM is involved in the development of Ladar™ Sensor Suite, a state-of-the-art computer vision-based laser detection and collision avoidance solution. A key differentiating factor is that the Ladar™ Sensor Suite utilizes AI/ML to detect, identify, classify and track partially submerged and submerged objects – resulting in a reliable and adaptable solution for maritime safety, security, and surveillance purposes. Around-the-clock Safety Alerts with SOS “We look forward to sharing the latest developments in our SOS multi-sensor offshore safety system that reduces the loss of lives at sea,” says Grindevoll. SOS is an automatic man-overboard alert system that uses advanced integrated sensor technology to detect any person falling overboard in real-time and immediately alarms the crew. In addition to being engaged in the scientific research, innovation, and development of maritime solutions for the shipping industry, OSM also provides proposal writing services.

Grindevoll and the team will be available at Stand C05-62 (Hall C) in the Norwegian Pavilion during all four days of the tradeshow.
