Nor-Shipping has today revealed that the largest ever Team Norway pavilion, organised by Norwegian Maritime Exporters (NME), has completely sold out one year in advance of June 2027’s event.
The Norway pavilion will span almost 2,800 m2 of Nor-Shipping’s total 26,000+ m2 of exhibition space, with over 90 exhibiting companies. Nor-Shipping says the growing demand shows “the strengths of both a unique cluster and an event serving the global maritime industry.”
A world of opportunities
Nor-Shipping 2027 takes place 7-11 June in Oslo and Lillestrøm and is already over 80% sold out, with a new exhibition hall added to cater for extra demand. NEXT has been chosen as the main theme for the global gathering, focusing on the key priorities of navigating uncertainty, evolving technologies and business models, executing on ambition, and transforming the industry.
Organisers are confident the exhibition and activity programme will surpass 2025’s record breaking performance of over 63,000 visits, with the strong Norwegian presence key to ongoing success.
Perfect partners
“Nor-Shipping is, of course, a truly international event, with 2025 seeing exhibitors and participants from over 100 different nationalities,” comments Sidsel Norvik, Nor-Shipping Director.
“That said, the Norway pavilion is always one of our star attractions and draws huge visitor numbers to experience high quality solutions, innovations and true industry expertise. Decision makers need to identify the right partnerships and technology to take them forwards into the future, and the Norway pavilion is the natural destination for NEXT movers. We’re thrilled to see it going from strength to strength.”
Strength in depth
Alongside the exhibitors, NME has dedicated over 250 m2 of the pavilion to hospitality and meeting spaces, with a luxury lounge, outfitted by NME’s long-standing partner Ekornes – Norway’s leading producer of furniture – and an informal coffee bar.
Erlend Prytz, CEO of NME, says of the plans: “At NME we exist to help our member companies achieve the success their products and services deserve within international markets. Nor-Shipping is the ideal arena to support that ambition.”

Prytz continues: “Next year’s pavilion is bigger than ever before, yet it has also sold out faster than ever. That reflects well on both Nor-Shipping and NME’s efforts, but also on the strength in-depth of a continually evolving cluster – one that touches upon every link in the entire maritime value chain. We’re looking forward to demonstrating that in 2027, welcoming the world to experience Norway at a pavilion that we believe offers something for everyone.”
NME has organised the Team Norway pavilion at Nor-Shipping for more than two decades. The organisation offers turnkey stand solutions for exhibitors at maritime exhibitions throughout the world, simplifying participation and maximising impact. NME also hosts a programme of networking events and high level meetings in its lounge throughout Nor-Shipping week.
Defining developments
Alongside the progress with exhibition space, Nor-Shipping 2027 has also succeeded in filling all main and leading partner roles, which includes DNB, DNV, ADNOC, Noatum Maritime, Jotun, Kongsberg Maritime, SKULD, Norwegian Maritime Authority, Höegh Autoliners, and Gard, in addition to a solid list of industry partners.
To complement the exhibition, a full activity programme is currently under development, offering headline initiatives such as The Ocean Leadership Conference, The Blue Talks, several sector specific conferences, Technical Seminars, Ocean Campus, AfterWork @AkerBrygge in Oslo, and more.
